MALVERN, PA, August 15, 2007 -- Business Intelligence International (BII), developers of the on-demand Aline™ Governance, Risk and Compliance plus Performance (GRC+P) platform, announced today the release of their new Aline4IA Module.
Aline™ is a user-friendly Software as a Service (SaaS) platform with its foundation based on the Aline4SOX module that helps companies automate and streamline their SOX process while reducing their total cost of compliance. The product enables users to document and assess the design of controls, track the testing of their effectiveness and easily locate and remedy any deficiencies.
Leveraging the Aline™ platform, the Aline4IA module for Internal Audit is scheduled for release in September, 2007. The new module is tightly integrated with the Aline4SOX module and will provide BII’s clients with the ability to develop their overall audit plan. Combining the effort of SOX and non-SOX audits will give companies a single Audit Universe where activities required for the SOX program and other audits share a common framework. This will provide an improved coordination of priorities and resources, while combining all findings into a single data repository.
Clients can accelerate the implementation by leveraging the key compliance assets in their existing organizational hierarchies, processes, risks and controls so the findings in the context of either program make completion efficient and effective.
The Aline4IA clients will also be able to leverage all of the standard reporting and program dash board capabilities that are built into the platform today. This will provide enhanced reporting efficiencies while providing a consistent look and feel across the enterprise and to external auditors.
Roland Mosimann, CEO of BII, said, “The Aline4IA tool is just the next logical step in bringing an integrated Governance, Risk, Compliance plus Performance solution to our clients, providing a foundation for an enterprise-wide view of risks. We will provide a single business-intelligence based repository of all data and bring the compliance and internal audit processes into closer alignment resulting in greater resource efficiencies and speed. Our SaaS platform means immediate start-up with no IT involvement or capital expense.”
The new module joins the Aline4SOX module, which was included earlier this year as a niche player in Gartner, Inc.’s Magic Quadrant Research Study for Finance Governance, Risk and Compliance Management (GRCM) Software. This is the only on-demand solution proven to reduce the cost and time of SOX compliance by up to 50% and transform compliance into sustainable business improvement.
